Ragan, is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) with the International Association of Yoga Therapy. She is also an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Integrative Yoga Therapy, a Registered Pregnancy Yoga Teacher (RPYT) and since 2006 has been teaching yoga, meditation, and working with clients in yoga studios, corporate settings and medical institutions. She has mentored yoga teachers in training at Yama Therapeutics and assisted in training pregnancy yoga teachers for Breath of Joy Healthy Living in Baltimore, Maryland.

Her focus and passion has been supporting people in chronic pain, coping with illness, recovering from injury, dealing with trauma and stress, issues related to aging, and pregnancy.

In addition to her yoga certifications, Ragan has studied transformational depth work for 5 years with PsychoEnergetics, energy healing for 3 years with Wilderness Fusion and is a Reiki Master. Ragan is a community herbalist, and has studied nature connection and earth-based skills.

Trained as a fine artist in college, she has been fascinated with nature since childhood and was drawn to the healing arts in her 20’s after a neck injury left her in chronic pain at the age of 19.  She then went on to deal with other injuries from martial arts, repetitive motion from her former profession as a furnace glassblower, a car accident and most recently Lyme disease, adrenal fatigue and chronic fatigue.

Her teaching style and one-on-one sessions are a direct reflection of all her life experiences.  She creatively and compassionately weaves together the elements of nature and the teachings of yoga with practices of mindfulness meditation and loving-kindness to support others on their path toward wellness.
